State Representative Tom Young is serving his third term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 37th House District, which covers southern Montgomery County. In addition to serving as Chair of the House Workforce and Higher Education Committee, Young serves on the Finance, Financial Institutions, and Public Insurance and Pensions committees.

Young is a former member of Wright State University board of trustees and the founding board member of the Dayton School and Business Technology. Representative Young has deep roots in the Miami Valley Community. He was born in Dayton and raised in Miamisburg. He has lived in the district nearly his entire life and has resided in Washington Township for over 17 years.
